I was reading my RSS feed when I got this great post from Photojojo about Kaleidocycles. It linked to a site that lets you upload photos to make one of these cool origami-like things. The photos are laid out on a sheet of paper for you to print, score, cut, and paste together. Awesome!!!!


I couldn't resist doing this for Connor and Fiona for Valentine's Day (Pat, if you are reading this, please don't tell them!). Belwo are photos of each one on its own.



I just love 'em! I even made a video to demonstrate how they work (embedded below, no audio)....

The light was just a few minutes past where I wanted it (it was much warmer about 15 minutes before, but I didn't get my butt down in time), however, I really like the way the light reflects off the building. The pinks in the sky really stand out. Not the best photo ever, but I have a bunch more days to counterbalance...

Two of my favorite people. I shot in portrait mode, not realizing the shutter stays open so much longer. This was the best of many shots, because they were moving way too fast for the mode!

Today completes my first month of this photo project. I have created a new page, linked to at the top of this blog as REJECTED! for the photos that didn't make the cut.
