Today I cheated. I cannot decide between these two. Since it is my project, I get to make the rules. And I say, two photos are allowable on occasion.

Fiona is just being herself in these. They captured the moment and make me smile.

This is not the best photo (framing, lighting, angle), but it is a nice photo. Because it is of us!

I'll try to do one self-portrait a month. They are difficult, thus worth doing. This one doesn't really count, though :)

I took this photo at the park next to my office (Cold Spring Park). I have my lunch at the park some summers to get fresh air. This was my first visit in the winter; it was very nice.

I like the perspective in this photo, though I wish it was centered a bit more. I love the shadow, the tree at the end of the bridge (centered to the bridge) and the reflection off the water. It is good to get out and enjoy nature year around.

Meet Rocky. Rocky is my co-worker, Jonathan's, family pet. He came to the office this morning to accompany Jonathan on an appointment. I've had the pleasure of visiting with Rocky many times over the years. He is a real sweetie. It was just so obvious that he should be today's photo.

This is the first photo I have edited. I took the shot while in Jonathan's office. Work detritus was in the background, and I didn't care much for it. I decided to edit it out in favor of focusing on my subject. The original is below.

We were driving around Worcester and stopped at a traffic light next to ladder 6. I saw the bell and knew I had to take a photo. We followed the fire truck to a station where I hopped out to get a shot. It is really beautiful.

We cut through the Boston Common on the way back from Fenway Park Friday night. When I saw the beautiful lights I had to stop to take a photo.
